All Type Mechanical Services (ATMS) is looking for skilled Commercial HVAC/R Service Technicians and Installers to join our Colorado Springs team.
In this role, you will perform service, diagnostics, repair, maintenance, installation, and startup of commercial HVAC/R systems. The position requires strong technical fundamentals, professional customer service, and the ability to work across a variety of equipment and job-site environments.

As a Commercial HVAC/R Service & Installation Technician, your responsibilities may include:

• Service commercial HVAC/R products and equipment while maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
• Perform repairs, equipment overhauls, new installations, and system startups.
• Diagnose and repair equipment using hand tools, blueprints, wiring diagrams, piping layouts, and engineering specifications.
• Perform preventative maintenance, site surveys, equipment replacements, and system modifications.
• Prepare for installations and repairs by reviewing building layouts, identifying potential challenges, gathering materials, and coordinating on-site work.
• Maintain assigned service vehicles and related service and maintenance records.
• Document completed work, including job paperwork, receipts, supporting documentation, photographs, and video when required.
• Maintain current knowledge of manufacturer equipment, installation procedures, operation, maintenance, service, and repair.
• Work overtime and weekends when required to support customer needs.

We are looking for technicians with the experience, technical foundation, and professionalism needed to work safely and effectively in commercial HVAC/R environments.

• Minimum of 3+ years of experience working with package units, split systems, pumps, and other HVAC equipment.
• Commercial HVAC/R industry experience.
• Colorado Mechanical 4 (Mech 4) license, or the ability to obtain the license within 60 days of starting.
• Associate degree, HVAC trade-school certification, or completion of a five-year apprenticeship program.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to climb ladders and stairs and access mechanical rooms, rooftops, and HVAC equipment.
• Ability to successfully complete applicable pre-employment screening requirements.
